Logistics Coordinator

Troy Logistics is currently recruiting for the position: Logistics Coordinator.

This Position is for the Henry County Office. We seek candidates with the ability to learn and multi task in a complex B to B logistics environment. This position is Entry Level. We will consider candidates with a recently completed 4 year University degree(BS in Business preferred).

Logistics experience is not necessary.

Good math skills, geography and basic economics knowledge are a required.

Positive attributes include: Education or work history that requires attention to detail and good interpersonal skills. Experience in one or more of the following environments: Truckload Brokerage, Airfreight Forwarding, Trucking, Logistics, etc.

We prefer candidates with less than a 30 minute commute to McDonough.

Operations Agents provide the services required by Client companies utilizing a variety of hired Truck and Trailer combinations: Van, Flatbed, Reefer, Intermodal, Specialized and O.D., Bulk.

There is a large amount of customer interaction and attention to detail required. Good communication skills are necessary. You are exposed to and expected to learn the entire decision making process. This position is intended to lead to advancement.

Troy Logistics offers its customers a unique menu of services. We are a licensed Truck Load Services Broker as well as Critical Care Logistic services provider. (some refer to this as Final Mile or Commercial White Glove) These services work very well in concert with each other.

The potential shipment situations vary widely.
